I own work blouses in green spot, white floral, rust, brown, navy and blue. The options currently available are 100% cotton and have no stretch. Some fabrics, like my first work blouse (pictured above) do provide a little stretch. The cropped waist fits snug and the body of the blouse fits loose, creating that gorgeous 40s silhouette in a practical and comfortable every day casual blouse.

I get a lot of wear out of them in spring and summer, and use them under winter layers for their strong 1940s collars. They suit all high-waisted trousers and skirts, and I have also worn one under a sleeveless day dress. Read the sizing information carefully – as I mentioned there’s no stretch in the waist, so make sure you’ve got the correct size for both your bust and natural un-cinched waist measurements to ensure a comfortable, non-restrictive fit.
