Parisienne Flats in Beige/Espresso by Charlie Stone Shoes.
I have always loved the menswear wingtip shoes of the 1910s through to the 1940s. A popular shoe choice on the swing dance floor, I never quite felt I could pull them off myself. The Parisienne Flats translate the classic wingtip aesthetic into an elegant t-strap style flat for femme dressing vintage dames. Originally released in an ivory & black shoe, this swoon-worthy design has returned in their Autumn/Winter ’21 collection in the most delicious chocolatey combination of beige/espresso.
When I saw them, my heart skipped a beat (pretty sure it set off alarms somewhere…) – earthy tones, warm browns and creams are my favourites year-round! Although these are A/W offerings, I will definitely be living in them over our Australian summer. I was thrilled to see they are a close enough colour match to my espresso Versailles handbag, also from Charlie Stone. The gold buckles also match the gold details on all various colour offerings of the Versailles bags.
I ordered my usual Charlie Stone size, which is a 38 and the same size I take in most other shoe brands.
