Casual Voyager Shorts in blue/green/brown by Emmy Design Sweden.

Emmy, my dearest, I am going to need these shorts in every autumnal, earthy tone imaginable. The Casual Voyager shorts are incredibly comfortable, flattering and fun! I love the high cinched-in waist / loose in the hips style of these shorts. They are very well made, and the attention to detail is – as always with Emmy Design Sweden – second to none. The shorts feature iconic 1940s side button closures, generous belt loops, front pleats and cuffed legs, which create a relaxed yet sophisticated overall look. To finish it all off, Emmy includes a high quality brown elasticated belt with a faux leather appearance and gorgeous rustic-looking buckle.

If you’re challenged in the ‘thicc’ department like myself, the legs are quite wide and the crotch quite low, so depending on how you’re moving and sitting, you might reveal more than you intended. I’d recommend wearing underwear / underpinnings that you are happy for the world to see – I wear colourful dance pants for swing dancing, or something subtle for everyday. (If you don’t mind a flash of your brightest, laciest, most sensual underthings, more power to you! I just thought I’d warn you..)

These shorts are also available in a range of bold, vibrant colours if you are braver with your colour palette than I am. I, however, was not joking with my request for more earthy colour options. I need them, Emmy. NEED. THEM.
